Oooh ok things seem to be wrapping up right now.

I've decided to stick with the MSI Z97 PC Mate because it's honestly the cheapest with a $25 rebate + there's a Boxing Day offer going on with the Intel i5 core where you get $30 off.

One last question is where do you stand with Cooler Master PSUs and cases, there's another promo going on right now, where if you get a Cooler Master case + PSU you get $20 off, so I'm just asking in terms of quality vs. price.

I've heard negative things about Cooler Masters power supplies. Would not recommend them. Although I've been told their higher priced stuff isn't as garbage as their lower tier. Not speaking from experience.
JohnnyGuru, and HardOCP are the recommended review sites for PSUs.
AnandTech, PCPerspective, The Tech Report, and TechPowerUP also do PSU reviews, but they're more a general computer-centric news site than the two sites listed above.

Edit: Apparently Cooler Master only has one good line of PSUs and that's their V series lines which are just rebranded SeaSonics, a highly respected PSU maker. Yeah, I'd avoid them.

I'd suggest something other than the Z97, I have the same motherboard and the quality of the I/O ports is pretty bad... For a first timer making a computer it'll cause some issues. The bios and software it comes with is pretty is dandy though, I like it (still not worth the hassle with the I/O ports).

Hi there, so I've bought the majority of my parts today (mostly expensive stuff).

There was some refurbished items/sales that happened so we changed it up a bit, and Boxing Day sales just went up so I have to return to the store to get back some money/buy more things. This should all be completed by Boxing Day, anyway here's my parts list right now.

The price isn't that high because of sales/promos/refurbished items. But it's still over 1k (which breaks my heart), anyways, just wanted to thank you guys for helping. I'll probably post an update when it's done on Boxing Day. Or the day after.

If you see any of these PSUs for around the same price I'd recommend these instead if you haven't bought it, there's nothing wrong with EVGA PSUs but SeaSonics are just more respected which all of these are.

Antec - High Current Gamers M series, True Power Trio, Edge series
Corsair - HX650, AX 760, AX 860
PcPower & Coling - The entire Silencer series, Silencer MK 3/III 400w to 600w, Silencer MK 2/ II is not however.
SeaSonic - All of Them
XFX - All of them

But yeah it's a great build, you should be set for a long time.
