  Nobody in their right mind would decide to kill puppies just because they're bored. Especially if they're kids. Something happened to cause that and saying just to throw them in jail is cruel and dismissive towards them.

  It's worse for animals since there is really nothing they can do, or say, or have anyone to turn to, if someone decides to just drown them, or burn them to death.

  Honestly, I could see some of the kids in the first neighbourhood I went to doing this. So many of the kids have horrible parents.
