So for kicks i was toying with archery just wondering since i already mastered it what bows w/ Es i should put on them. Also wondering if its worth to special upgrade a wingbow on red or is there a better bow out there

Depending on your budget, the best bows are:
Super-expensive: Bhafel Hunter + Huntress
Expensive: Saviour Bow (or whatever the divine one is called)
And cheap:
-Higher ceiling but more reforges to max: Demonic
-Lower ceiling but can be bought pre-reforged to R1: Highlander

If you're just messing around, just whatever bow you want, probably HLB/Wing/Ring/LLB should suit your purposes. Whether you want to special upgrade is dependant on how much gold you have to throw around.
Enchant scrolls.. Lizard Fancy/Delusional is a pretty cheap starting point, Glorious Sniping if you like x10 repair rate

Wing bow is not worth using at all.
Also, if you're planning on using archery more, master talent isn't enough. Go get sniper title.

Isn't the absolute best bhafel you can get:
Attack 24~68
Critical 37%
Balance 40%
Injury Rate 20~60%
Piece +1
Red 6+reforges
Pretty sure an ego will be cheaper and definitely stronger

Ego will not be stronger at all, and will take WAAAAAY more expense. Egos need to be fed millions to become decent. The only thing it will have better than a Bhafel is max dmg, and at that, not by too much.
Bhafel has two pierce levels, and can be red upgraded. Ego has neither of those things. Can also be paired with Bhafel Huntress for no more arrows gg.
60 extra damage or so is absolute pocket change compared to extra % damage from piercing prot, the defense piercing narrows the flat damage gap so that 60 is more like 40, and having R5/R6 is a huge source of damage.
Multipliers > Flat Damage

My RB ego is sitting at around 70~130ish at level 42ish throughout. I've only spent around 25m so far feeding it to 42, so another 20m should be sufficient for 50 I presume. Unless somehow the bhafel is cheaper?
ELI5 please :srsly?: cause I just don't get it.

An ego bow is arguably cheaper than a bhafel set, but it is definitely not as strong as a bhafel with R6+enchants+good reforge including the huntress. Not even close.
Source: Me.
Also, I'd like to point out that the roll of a bhafel doesn't have a significant impact end-game.[/FONT]

Change that piercing to +2.
Also, you can't factor out the bonus for huntress.
Please find me an ego with piercing.

Max Damage (accounting for min/max rolls)
Bhafel Hunter: 40~68
Swift: 0~15
Thorn Lotus: 12~18
Bhafel Huntress: 30
Right off the bat you're looking at a maximum of 131 max damage. That's factoring in less than perfect but sustainable enchants. Regardless, the max damage of the weapon isn't terribly important. Piercing level 2 offers a potentially huge damage bonus, easily sending the Bhafel Hunter to the top of the list. You've even got access to special upgrades, which grant upwards of 62% more critical damage.
The single most distinguishing feature of this weapon is the static 15% damage bonus afforded by the Bhafel Huntress. Nothing else comes even close once you factor this into the equation. In order to better illustrate the strength of this effect, allow me to provide a wonderful little scenario.
I use a Spirit Arbalest. I'm probably the only person on Alexina who actually uses crossbows seriously. As a result, I have around 400,000 special/sharp bolts saved up and a lot of them were donations. Sharp/Special ammunition increases your damage by 10%. With nothing more than 141 max damage from my ego and its weaker mastery, it's more powerful than all other ranged weapons except for the Bhafel Hunter (with or without huntress) and possibly the new divine bow.
All thanks to my ammo.

this is pretty accurate
lol, even the cheap ones are beyond my budget

I don't think anyone mentioned this, so I will. A bow that is incredibly cheap for what it provides: Black Dragon Knight's Bow.
It may fall short once you have
680 max dmg with a r6 HLB but it's still a good option, at least for now, because it does come pre-reforged r1, which can potentially save you a shit ton of gold when you reforge it.

Were you not on for the manus bait that basically means free gems?
