Thoughts on Snowball Fight Event 2014?

The amount of rage a Christmas holiday event in some MMO can induce in some people is rather silly. It was just meant to be a fun thing to try for a change--not something to exploit in order to get mass amounts of illegitimate exp.

Haven't even gotten the chance to try this, since I'm traveling. In the previous version, however, I did enjoy having bombing wars, so it's too bad that they were removed.

No, you still have to spend about 2.5~3 hours since you're going to have to wait for 12AM to pass-by when you've won it with the red team already. If you get bored, you can always do it on an assistant character/alternate character to pass the time since it takes about 10 minutes to complete depending on ignorance of the other members on your team.

Given the entry restriction and the amount of time it takes to get a single box, the time to reward ratio makes the event all less worthwhile.

I know, right? I don't really bother with this even now. I'll probably do it one more time for a fifth box and that'll be all. Using that 2-3hr could easily yield ~2-2.5 million EXP, and 500~550k gold with an okay party MA spam. This event is way too inefficient for APs and rewards.

While I personally don't care if people do the trade win for this event...

I really had fun annoying the red team as an one-man blue team in the trade win channel. Boy, were you right, some of them have anger issues.
