  Up until boss round this is very viable, but a few npc's on specific rounds have resistance to IS freezing effect so you might also want stun pets to prevent them from interfering.

  Yes, you should rank puppet in general, because puppet itself is a good talent to master.
  
  You can crisis, ice spear, then blaze, but it's just much easier to have someone else crisis and act 4 then you following up with blaze.
