My loot: 50â‚¬, a pair of knee highs (yes!) and a nice shirt. More than enough. In my family gift are generally reserved for the kids out of pragmatism. Well, as much pragmatism as they could muster... I still think they got three times as much as would've been appropriate.

We have an annual Monopoly game on New Year's Eve. I suggested adding Cards Against Humanity this year.

Tried out the bed sheet set I got for Christmas now that I'm back in my apartment and holy shit. This stuff is so smooth and soft and ugh! LOVE IT!

The pillow is also awesome as well. Really great gifts.

In the end, didn't really need money or games or game currency. Sometimes the best gift I could ask for is new clothes and bed stuff as I rarely get that stuff on my own.

I actually got a bed sheet set as a late Christmas gift too. Although, mine came from family, which is slightly awkward since I call them sex sheets. This red color.

But they're incredibly comfy. I've been sleeping wonderfully.
