The game is unplayable in Europe!!!

  Since the servers are closed in Europe. European people also play on the NA server. But there is so much lag.
  
  Even in a normal dungeon a wolf can hit me 9 times until I hit the wolf the first time. I cannot normal attack a wolf that is attacking me with smash skill. Pretty much any class besides close combat ones are unplayable. Never could use a bow in a dungeon. No magic skills work in the game. I wait for the skill be ready only to get it canceled by the attacks of enemies.

  There is quite a bit of lag, but nowhere as bad as you are describing. I mean, it depends on connection speed: currently I have ~10Mbps and can play without much trouble, although I remember times of 2Mbps when even walking around was a challenge.

  Korea also has the highest internet speed in the world, I was able to play league and Mabi on NA servers no problem.

  It all depends on your ISP. Not talking about throughout "speed" either, but rather, latency. My ISP (in Canada) set up dedicated direct links to Europe, for example, so my pings to major EU data centres are at around 70ms.
  
  Do a traceroute to nexon.net and check the latency to the last hop that shows up (the one before repeated timeouts.)

  I have good internet and when I test my connection to California it just struggles. My only lag issues are due to FPS/Server though, I don't have lag on my side.

  I have fibre broadband, I feel bad for people who only have 5mb or something and try to play from EU.

  I would highly recommend using a program like WTFast to route your connection to the servers (based in L.A. Cali, USA I believe) if possible. I know programs like these have helped people in similar situations.

  What might help is better internet and probably also a better computer. I used to lag really bad since I was on a rather old computer, so that said it is not always just your connection.
  
  Ever since I have gotten a new computer I only encounter just the common spikes of lag that everyone encounters when the game server is being wonky or for whatever reason this happens (Still that should not even happen either but oh well). I have no issues using gunner skills anymore ever since. I also quite enjoy now being able to do combat with ninja&fighter skills combined. I can pull alternating between the two weapons off easily despite living in Europe.
  
  I must say though Mabinogi is one of the most laggy games I have ever played online. I have played many games where the servers were located in the States and in none of them did I even ever experience lag.
  
  Kinda off topic but speaking of lag I haven't had monsters be stuck in Shadows Missions for quite a while now.

  I play from the UK and it's okay, I definitely get some lag spikes sometimes especially in busy areas but nothing as bad as you described. It could be your computer since I used to lag way worse before I got a new laptop? If it is then any of the de-lagging suggestions such as WTFast probably won't help much.
  Still, I know people in NA who lag badly so it's probably not the location, unless you live in an area with slow internet connection in general
  
  You can always try lowering your graphic settings to the minimum possible, that's what I do
