Mysterious Robe help

So I'm aware that there's a glitch with Mysterious Robes and greaves and boots. The Mysterious Robe causes the boots to be shortened, making it look like shoes whenever you're running. It happens with numerous boots and shoes.

Now my question is.. if I buy the Mysterious Shoes.. would it still be glitched?

that's a common thing with all boots
it cuts them away so when you're sitting down, the robes don't cut through and expose the boot
