The owl event was a time waster, this chest event is better.
Seriously, sitting there for 5 hours just to get an item that could very well be something you could obtain in less than a minute (I'm talking to you Elven Gloves) is not really worth the time and effort.
That and seeing people AFK for hours on end and almost all channels being full or busy when it's not peak time gives me a =/ feeling.

I am the Master of AFK, so I don't really mind, but it'd fail for anyone who's actually trying to do something.
They'd then lag and lag and lag. I used to DC too much for it, though...
