I honestly can't say, to be honest, the service, content and general balance is horrid, but, Mabinogi is very unique and can be very enjoyable with friends.

How is the "general balance" horrid?

Pretty much everything is on the same page, which is to say that it's all overpowered. Pretty much every talent has a windmill clone, a smash clone, and a small handful of skills that nobody has time for.

He means the balance between the game, the content that it has, and the quality of the service of the company that hosts the game.
(I wouldn't exactly call Nexon's service overpowered, lol. It's been a lot worse, though)

Exactly this, should of been more clear in my first post.

I do agree most talents are on the kinda-same page with eachother, but there is still some overpowering factors(Shooting Rush, Lullaby, Act:6 Crisis and so on)

The game is really newbie unfriendly, and requires way too much time to reach "decent" "mid-game" compared to like majority of the MMORPGs out there.

Mabinogi is a game of gated progression. You always have to wait a certain amount of time before you actually progress again. Weekly Rebirths and Daily Apostle Orders are the main thing.

Then, some servers are too empty and/or too uninterested in Apostle raids to do the Apostle Orders.

What Mabinogi is good at is its long stories (if you try to do all of them from beginning), total freedom in choosing skills and what your character should look like, and that you never loose your sense of progression each time a new patch comes.

I really have no problem with reforges. Sure, having some would be nice, but they aren't necessary to do well in this game. Massive amount of time to get all the AP and grind all the skills is required.

If/when mabi closes down, everyone loses their money anyway.

Nerfing everything would make everything "harder" as a result.

Pets are too forgone.

Also you know what i meant, I meant the randomness of reforges and the paying aspect of them, since mostly everyone here has benefited from reforges at one point, although giving them out in events is a step, but the majority of reforges are player bought. Since anyone who has bought them from a shop (player or otherwise) is not helping that at all.
