Mabinogi Patch takes forever

This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. You can not register, post or otherwise interact with the site other than browsing the content for historical purposes. The content is provided as-is, from the moment of the last backup taken of the database in 2019. So i ended up having to re download and install mabi and for some reason it takes forever to patch the game. Anyone know how to speed this up? It is definitely not my internet speed as it only took me 30mins to download the whole client and its been patching for about 4 hours and is at 45%? Does anyone else have this problem?

Edit: Looked around on the net and solved the problem with a launcher that Nexon has.
