Why?
Well, this one pet alone has practically every ideal aspect: fastest air mount (since it has an ostrich-like boost for flying), and fastest land mount. Insane damage and skills. Higher extreme of summoning time. You can attack on it. It even has a player-size inventory.Et cetera. Maybe some other bonuses that I missed.
Summary: It's too overpowered.
As you can see, this pet will literally make all mounts obsolete. Newbies with NX will use it as a staple for compensating their horrible damage, technique, whatnot. It widens the gap between people without much NX and those with a lot of it. Those who spent money on other mounts (i.e. 10 Thoroughbreds) will be somewhat forced to spend more money.
Pretty soon after the G13 patch, I can guarantee that people will just go around using 10 dragons, and the only other pets they'll bother with are maybe cheap storage pets, herb pigs, cobras...er yeah. Something like those.
I wouldn't accuse DevCAT of this in other situations, but I think this was a financial move. Everyone seems to want one. And even if they don't, most will be pressured into getting one anyway.
I can already see people buying lots of dragons just to abuse the breath attacks. O_O (Breath + desummon + repeat everytime the cooldown ends.)
Does anyone else think like me?

Heck, I just want a dragon so I can look at it.
I really don't use pets in combat anymore anyway. I also definitely don't need the storage space.
The speed is nice though.

I want the fire dragon, only one though, two at most, mainly because their cute .-.

I only want one, I doubt people will buy more then 2.
If they play tons they'll just buy two because of summoning time..

I wuv dragons, but yes I agree that they are extremely OP.
Although, buying ten dragons seems extreme...
I almost never run out of pet summon time in one day, even for my overused mounts.

It's so you have 10 OP pets to summon in battle. Sort of how people now use 10 Thoroughbreds, though this is just the more insane way of doing it due to their faster speed and better damage.

I would only buy 2 dragons.
But I don't think they're too OP. I hardly care. After all, they're just pets.

In truth it is overpowered but I am only interested in buying one, at max 2 (which is less likely), because it is a dragon. I didn't buy the griffin cause I knew that the dragon pet was coming and better to save up cash for the later use unless it ends up like my unicorn, though it use more than my shire.

I dislike the new dragons. In my opinion the Fire Dragon sucks compared to the Thunder dragon. It's worse (or equal) in every way, including flight speed.
1. They outclass all other pets.
2. Thunder/Fire storm can be spammed. Lethal dragon revolver.
3. Thunder/Fire breath deals high damage over a wide radius. While largely unrelated, it further proves how terrible the spirit awakening skills are.
4. The movement speed is equal to the speed of a Thoroughbred. The flight speed is equal to the speed of an Eagle.
5. Boost increases flight speed randomly.
6. The inventory size is massive.
7. The summon duration is lengthy.
8. Thunder/Fire dragons are color-selectable.
9. Players can fight while mounted on a Thunder/Fire dragon.
Honestly, the whole pet system needs to be reworked. These new pets are giving new players way too much power while offering more experienced players little improvement. Fix the companion bonus. Improve the pet rebirth system. Stop milking the cash shop, aka "OMGOMGOMGINEEDABLACK/WHITEGRIFFINSOICANBEUNIQUEBECAUSETHEYARETTLYRARESPAMNXMOAR"

Yes but how many people even have more then 2 or 3 Thoroughbreds? D:
I mean sure, these can be abused but I don't think there will be very man people buying more then 3 of them

Similar reasoning. I like how Dragons are fast as Thoroughbreds as well as fast as Eagles, because no other pets have that combination.
Honestly, i don't think i'll be using its breath attack much. lol. I only use my pets to stun/distract enemies when i'm in Solo Dungeons.
P.S. To Magenera, you live in VA? =D

By virtue of being dragons, they had to be overpowered. I don't particularly like the incarnation but the cooldowns are enough that it shouldn't be a major problem unless someone buys like 10 of them.
So, I'm not too worried.

I really think the problem is there's no downside to these (besides the price).
They're good storage pets, good combat pets, and good flying and ground mounts. At least remove one of those from the list. I mean storage doesn't have to be realistic (a horse carries less then an owl... what?) and you would think a dragon would be too bulky to outrun a horse or outfly an eagle, but noooooo.

I do agree that pets should have some kind of redone system
but yeah I would likely just get 1 Dragon really even if it was overpowered, variety = fun for me having several dragon pets will get dull
but there are plenty of pets that I bet are overlooked nowadays
pets below 3k nx are probably only used for looks if anything, most people that get nx would get 10k+ cause of prepaid cards, if not those if you have Paypal there's no restriction on your nx income either so yeah those pets are likely being neglected
it's sorta like everything on mabi, alot of older things get overlooked as newer things are added (assuming this new director will do what he promises, that may change soon which is great news for me)

It's OP, so that's just more reason to love it. When I get it, I plan on training each one of them to level 50+, or even 100+, just so that they have amazing stats and rank 1 skills. I will spend any and all free time at Black Tailed Mongooses on my Dragon, camping repeatedly until it hits 100. It will be the only reason for me to buy service just so I don't have a camping penalty. They will be my best friends.
