hi! I thought it would be a great idea, instead of comparing who is better at archery.
how would you describe the game play of humans and elves in archery to a newbie!
in this thread please no QQ, or bashing cause I wanna give a good idea of what to tell someone who is new to mabi archery

Pretty much this.
Like it or not, there will be people QQing about archery in this thread, dumb ones too. Not really gonna be that much of a help.
All I'm gonna say is that if you're gonna go full out archery, you should go elf, but if you're new to the game, I'd recommend human for any class in general.

Fuck elves so that only leaves one option left.

Like what everyone else said, it should probably wait till next month when renovation covers archery. I have a good feeling that a LOT of changes will be made, so it's not basically made out of two skill usage.
Someone who's new to do archery? Probably not a good idea. You need to know the game well to use/setup for/rank skills for archery.
Describing Game play?
Crash Shot > Lullaby > Crash Shot > Magnum/AR
Crash Shot > AR (Human)
Crash Shot > Magnum
Magnum > Magnum > Magnum > Magnum > Magnum > Magnum > Magnum > Magnum > Magnum > Magnum > Magnum (elf-only, or with humans, AoE pets in between)
Demigod > Demigod Wings of Eclipse > Final Shot > Magnum Revolver (elf)

This always annoys me. I've been magnum spamming since long before AoE pets were even a retarded twinkle in a developer's eye. You do not need to be an elf, you just have to not suck and not be using a shortbow.

When I use Archery, I would do point blank attacks (zero-shot). In case you didn't know the closer you are to an enemy, the faster the aim meter increases. This is why the concept and term 'zero-shot' was coined (the player stands very close or on top of enemies so they shoot immediately because the aim meter would already be over 90%). Doing zero-shot is recommended for skills like Crash Shot and Magnum Shot because they have slower aim speed, so you can hit them sooner with higher success as opposed from the farthest distance.
-As for racial differences, Humans have Arrow Revolver as their exclusive Archery Skill. Arrow Revolver is like chain casting 5 arrows but each arrow shot gets stronger after each shot and at rank 1 the first arrow only starts from a 50% Aim Meter so you can shoot over 90% aim from the furthest range of a bow really fast. Arrow Revolver is fairly difficult to obtain though.
-Human Ranged Attack has higher Aim Speed but it's not too noticeable at close range.
-Human Magnum Shot has 1.5 seconds cooldown at Rank 1 (as opposed to an Elf's 0.5 Second). The Elf's cooldown of 0.5 seconds is the main reason why people say "Magnum>Magnum>Magnum" with Elves however Humans are able to do the same as well despite protests. Of course it's not as effective but it's not impossible either nor is it inefficient for a Human who mains in Archery. This is because Magnum Shot stuns an enemy long enough for even a Human to chain Magnum Shots despite having 1.5 seconds cooldown.
-Elves can shoot two arrows at once. It consumes two arrows per attempt (miss or hit). The exception is when an Elf's Ranged Attack is defended, in that case only 1 arrow is shot/used.
-Horseback Archery is available for Elves. It's rarely used but it's a unique gimmick to differentiate Human Archery from Elf Archery. It's also a good way to do Hit-and-Run attacks (again, rarely done).
-Final Shot and Mirage Missile are Elf exclusive Archery Skills. Final Shot increases all Elf Archery skill aim speed and it allows for teleportation while Mirage Missile has a Dischord/Celestial Spike effect that can spread to other enemies that come close.

All I know is that a blanket damage increase to Arrow Revolver (ala Final Hit) would be a very bad idea. I already hit over 25k with the skill.

But that's with a combo card though.

The skill is accurate enough and deals enough damage to be untouched by the update. In the name of balance, we don't want people everywhere spamming magnum-packed Arrow Revolver. On the flipside, we don't want Magnum Shot to be as accurate as Arrow Revolver or Ranged Attack. Whatever they decide to do, it shouldn't obfuscate the unique characteristics of each skill.
