Is Mabi KR signficantly different than NA in terms of popularity, glitches, etc?

Does Mabi KR have the same issues that NA has with glitches, or is NA too lazy to implement the glitches that mabi KR fixes? Does it suffer from lag spikes like NA, and how is the server population like there? Do they have a lot more exclusive events? Do beginners there receive a 500 ap potion too? Trying to decide if I want to start over there to improve my korean and have access to a better game experience...

I'm Korean so starting an account and everything is no problem, just that I don't know if its worth it or not.

Exclusive events: So far I'd have to say yes... :(

Beginner Benefits: I would say yes but don't quote me on that.

I'd say it's worth it if you are in KR, otherwise I think latency can get bad trying to connect all the way there from, I presume, america.

Not on a too often basis. KR still have the stuck shadow mission mob glitch though. I ran into it the other day when I was testing the ram pet. There's a lot of long standing bug fixes that KR has yet to fix. I'm assuming it's because they can't figure out what's causing them otherwise they would have fixed it by now. Either that or they aren't paying close attention.

I might be wrong but KR probably has less bugs than NA. For example, Control Marionette's cooldown is still glitched in NA while they patched it a while back in KR.

As a matter of fact, Rejuvinogi actually inserted more bugs. Dunno about Greenogi (KR version).

nation has the kr test group, but i don't know about guilds for english players

Korea has the best internet speed in the world, and this is one of the reason why we see more intense Mabinogi players in the KR server.

If you're playing from the states though, you'll have spikes here and there, depending on your service.

As for English speaking guild, the correct answer would be that there is none, as foreigners don't make up significant portion of the population. Most Koreans will have decent skill of English, but if you really want to play KR server seriously, you should have good knowledge of Korean. Also, you'd need a proof that you live in Korea to play KR server (i-pin)

If NA is more glitched than KR, Devcat is to blame on that. They are the ones that manage that stuff. NA doesn't have the power to fix glitches themselves.

I highly doubt NA is that much more glitched than KR aside from bug fixes we never got yet.

It also depends on the IT team state side. If our ITs are incompetent in installing patches, then yea were pretty much doomed for a glitchy hellhole. Otherwise we should be on the same page as Kr and the rest of the world with a few exceptions.

No it isn't. They aren't going out of their way to make sure that your gaming experience is a glitchy hellhole.

This game's client is 10 years old. It wasn't meant to be ran on anything past XP. The fact that it is still popular isn't their fault, and I highly doubt that DevCat said "10 years down the road people are still going to be playing this game". Mabinogi has far surpassed the average lifespan of an MMORPG.

You are literally complaining at a 80 yr old that they aren't walking fast enough.

well for NA it's the incompetence of the devs over here who like to put different patches and fixes together.
take something from jp...kr...tw....etc etc until you get what you got today
