- Does Icebolt actually steal MP or does it only restore your MP and not steal anything?
- How much MP does Icebolt restore at all ranks?
- Rate of Icebolt's movement speed reduction, for all ranks?
- What is Icebolt's movement speed reduction at Ranks F to 2?
- Duration of Icebolt's movement speed reduction for all ranks?
- What is Lightning Bolt's extra damage for Ranks F to 2?
- Is Lightning Bolt's extra damage worthwhile to use?
- How much CD does Shockwave have now from Ranks F to 2?
- Was Snap Cast's training readjusted in accordance to the CD lowering?
- How much are the Exploration pages from the Seal Merchant?
- Min-Max Magic Attack Modifier for Lightning Rod?
- Mana Recovery overpowered?
- Monster, pets, partners, and NPCs receive these changes? Considering that they weren't affected in Genesis or Melee Renovation, I doubt it. (easily testable by Ceo Ice Sprite)
Quote from Zekki:
- 1. Can you use Ice Spear on a frozen target?
- 2. If so, does the target remain frozen after the 1st explosion?
- 3. If so, does the target get reduced damage from the second explosion?
What does Flame Burst on an Ice Speared target do? Still do full damage? Take away its damage reduction?

hmmm looking at those questions. Most of the ones pertaining to mobs are extremely difficult for me to test as I have no way of analyzing mob mp or if they even use mp for casting their seemingly endless spam of magic.
As for skill rank changes those will be addressed when Teto gets around to it providing that people stop pestering her about it.
The other stuff I'll do my best to answer but as always give no guarantees that I'll be able to find/give a satisfactory answer.
If you have suggestions in how we might be able to test these questions, I'm all ears.

Couldn't you try hitting the possessed skeletons in GoP and then try possessing them to check for a difference in their mp?

Pretty sure they do, New Green Gremlin spams Healing and eventually it will stop doing so. Their MP/SP is probably in the hundreds.
You could also Icebolt another tester and ask if their MP went down.

Mind testing this from my post in the magic update thread?

Question...

I'm not sure why they're doing this...is the dmg from the single lighting bolt being buffed by the full charge..?
Edit: Oh and uh, this is a follow up vid from them doing the same thing at the start of SCC, I'm only asking in THIS one because there doesn't seem to be a reason to do this to just one target, unlike in their first part of the video.
Also there's another vid showing off that if you freeze a target with def up or counter up, you will still get blocked/countered normally if you attack them while frozen. (somewhere on that channel)
I just want to know if the single lightning bolt is getting the 100% dmg bonus or not. (either way I might make/find an AI just for it for the fun XD)

I'm mostly just curious to see "real" damage on lightning rod. i.e: a full mage character with ranked skills, stats and gear.
What I have seen so far was hitting no more than 1 - 2k damage which is kind of insulting since my normal lightning bolt can crit in that region.

You may have to wait until it hits NA, Kingofrunes isn't at his prime in KR.

This is very true. On KR (Both Live/Test) I have focused much of my AP on Melee/Magic so my magic is pretty subpar. Although there are greater mages than I in NA especially as lately I have been really lazy and unmotivated (1200int and 350 magic attack is apparently pathetic in the eyes of certain people)

Not seeing how that's pathetic. That's end-game mage stats isn't it? Either way, you're still one of the strongest mages out there.

You're looking at about 620 magic attack, max. Your average end-game mage is running around with about 500.
Maxed out Lightning Rod should push out 10~25k damage.

Quote from Development Announcement:
Also for skills that had absurd skill training requirement despite their actual usage and performance, we had eased down on their training methods and have made the Magic Skills more convenient to use.
I'm curious to know what was changed about this.

- Does Int's MP Cost and Casting Time Reduction (50 Int = 1% Reduction) apply to Lightning Rod?
- Does Lightning Mastery affect Lightning Rod?
