Recently, I was accused of scamming. Mind you, there was no proof, nothing to back up the accusation that was laid against me. I accept that people will do such things out of rash behavior, anger, jealousy, or whatever reasons they desire.
What really baffles me is how many "friends" and people who have done clean business with you will turn against you just because someone calls you a scammer. This is the mindset that makes me angry. Why would you believe something if there is no proof? He said she said shit has been going on since we could talk. It's a natural thing, people talk, they spew lies and drama. I live my life with everyone being innocent until proven guilty.
People fail to realize what repeated harassment and hurtful words can do to people. I've left 3 mabinogi communities and can barely sell things in game anymore due to harassment, accusations, and lies being spread more and more, despite how much I defend myself or try to explain that I am innocent.
I know I am not the only player who has fallen victim to this. Does anyone else agree that this needs to end? That people should wait for validity before pointing fingers? Or am I the only one who believes in justice anymore?

You think people in Mabinogi are really logical people?
They don't want to be your friends? Go make new ones.
Of course it's gonna get you pissed if you think about it, if people try to spew dramas, which is a silly thing in Mabinogi community, just don't give a shit about it. Less shit you give, less you'll feel bad.

It is just human nature. You can find that anywhere in life.
I have played Mabinogi for years, and I have never gotten in any drama. I think you might need to change your ways if you have to "leave the community" so much times.

You have to be pretty careful with who you associate with these days.
I'd say reputation is built off of who you associate with, whether it's good or bad. Unfortunately, newer players fall victim to the bad side of that more often.
I'm sure if you ignore it or shrug it off, they'll stop eventually.

Don't set your standards so low when it comes to who you're befriending, before finding my group of homies on mabi I spent the previous 6 or 7 months playing pretty much entirely solo. There are a lot of faggots on mabinogi (excuse my shinoby speak), just don't make friends with any of them and play solo until you find normal people. They're out there but they're hard to find on mabi, good luck my friend.

This pretty much.
I lost my best friend that I knew for three years when she got hacked... She thought it was me, so she basically went apeshit over it, and tried to harass me non-stop for about a year now before she moved to Mari server.
It's sad how easily your best friends can turn against your back.

I am a solo player, but I merchant after i hit my 100 levels for the week (which usually happens on day 1) so I have to associate with others to make gold. It just sucks when people who you have never wronged and done good business with for years turn their back on you over 1 rumor. Like, you'd think people would have more sense. I wish i had any really close friends on mabi, but i tend to play alone, so it's hard to keep friends around lol.

Lower your standards. If they'll turn against you so easily, then they're not "friends". They're "acquaintances", and they'll hardly qualify as such. You don't need to leave a community because of one false accusation. Maybe you are innocent, but maybe you really are the lowest common denominator. I don't care, but do you know what? You can still do something about it. You have the ability to do something about it, and that starts with explaining your side of the story to others.
If nobody wants to talk to you because they think you did something wrong, ask why they think that, or are they just listening to others. If it's the later, then they need to get to know you on their own; it's not for a community to judge what a person should be to another, it's for each to do on their own. There's a simple rule to this: If they're not willing to listen to you, then they're not worth your time; move along.
I only have one or two people I know online that I've yet to meet irl that I consider "friends". I do have many that I consider to be "well-versed acquaintances" that I treasure dearly, and if and when any of them are accused of scamming, or anything else, I thoroughly investigate it before I make any judgement. I have seen multiple people I know be accused of illegitimate actions, and on not a single occasion were they justified accusations.

If you have integrity and a bit of humility, you'll never run into any issues.
People who complain about drama are often drama magnets. They bring it on themselves through their actions.
I've only been accused of scamming somebody once. We were performing a bulk trade and my client crashed halfway through it. The other person freaked out, instantly contacted my guild leader and at least two other people in my guild, and then started spamming bugles. I logged in about five minutes later to find this person's world crashing down on me. What did I do? I completed the trade and told him to have a good day. I'm 99% certain that person has quit by now.

Well that's something I always thought about in this community. What if someone wants to call someone a scammer just to ruin their good name? I'd say 80% of players believe scam accusations without proof.
I personally couldn't give less a fuck what anyone ingame thought about me. I have one of the best Mabi friends you could ever ask for lol. We make an amazing duo and can conquer most things in the game without any additional help. I personally suggest you try to find that one friend who would never turn on you and stick with that person. People making accusations should never be a reason for you to stop making the game you enjoy playing.
If you play Alexina add Refuser :)

As said before, you'd have to let it go. I know how it feels to be looked down upon and ridiculed, but it shouldn't matter. Let it go, and they'll eventually let it go too.
Yes, all humans need at least a couple of friends to stay sane, but those kinds of people aren't your friends. You'd have to wait for the right one eventually.

Jumping the gun like this is a huge no-no.

I know this way too well lol. It really is hard to keep some friends. Notice I said some..There are some really good people who play this game and you just gotta take time to find those people xD. Ive been playing solo recently coming back to mabi since my FL is dead xD.

I will do that! And yeah I dont care what people think, until I need to buy NX and I cant because noone trusts me, that's the only time I care. That, and the constant harassment lol.

I never had problems with this but I do agree that accusing people of scamming without proof is pretty retarded. Primary reason I hate those scammer lists people occasionally advertise everywhere.

I laugh at everyone who jumps on the scammer bandwagon without any type of proof.
