[Mabinogi] Mabinogi Data Helper Tool [rev 11]

This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. You can not register, post or otherwise interact with the site other than browsing the content for historical purposes. The content is provided as-is, from the moment of the last backup taken of the database in 2019. Image and video embeds are disabled on purpose and represented textually since most of those links are dead.

To aid with Data Mining, I have written a tool that will allow people to quickly read values.

This tool is called the Mabinogi Data Helper. This tool takes the raw extractions you choose, and compiles them into easy to read tables.

Download and Installation

Download the latest version here.

Once downloaded, extract it to a folder of your choosing. To read data you will need to extract .PACK files from the Mabinogi client you are targeting.

Download mabiunpack here.

Mabiunpack is a useful tool made by the community which lets you extract .PACK files. Use this or your preferred tool, and then point MabiDataHelper to the data folder to read it.

Any other location will fail to work.

Revision 6 has just been released.

Changelog:

- Added the ability to export skill rank data as wiki format:
- Automatic calculation for stat CP.
- Automatic total counts for AP and bonus stats.
- Direct control of which values are outputted in the results with checkboxes.
- Edit the "Friendly Name" to set a header. Common defaults are provided.
- Quick copy button to add the text to the clipboard.
- Added a program icon placeholder.

Revision 7 has just been released. This is an emergency bug fix build and you may want to skip 6 and get this if you use the Export Rank Data tab, as all of the fixes relate to it.

Changelog:

- Added decimal place rounding to exports. (2 digits of precision)
- Fixed cooldown not showing in seconds.
- Fixed wiki syntax spacing for + signs and blank values (-).
- Removed + signs from total AP.
- Stat/Skill CP now always rounds to 1 decimal place regardless of being a whole number or not.
- Fixed a fatal crash when invalid training requirements were parsed.

Revision 8 has been released. It is a minor update, but will prove useful to some.

Changelog:

- Added support to change the start and end ranks that exported wiki data will include. The default is Novice to Rank 1.
- Fixed a few minor bugs.
- Updated the exported data to change the headers on the table based on the number of included ranks.

Revision 9 will come with the completion of the skills section of this tool, including the training requirements exported to wiki format.

Revision 9 has been released. This marks the completion of the skills section.

Changelog:

- Added the Export Training Requirements tab:
- Automatically populates a text box with wiki formatted training requirements.
- Calculates the stat gain per rank automatically.
- Uses 2 decimal point digit precision or higher, just like the Wiki.
- Automatically discards ranks with no training, however it can be further filtered using dropdown menus.
- Fixed floating point accuracy by changing to the double data type.
- Rearranged the tabs so that they are more sensible. (Rank Data, Export Rank Data, Training Requirements, Export Training Requirements)

Revision 10 has been released. This includes some fixes and additional feature requests to the skills exporting.

Changelog:

- Fixed a few bugs with colspan checks when exporting.
- Fixed Stat CP entries that begin with "-" causing invalid Wiki syntax.
- Stat CP can now be enabled/disabled via the export tab.
- XMLData is now split up and added to rank data. As a result individual values from this data can be exported and viewed in rank data easily.

Revision 11 has been released. This is more of a bugfix patch than a feature patch.

Changelog:

- Fixed stamina, mana and life usage export stats from outputting invalid wiki tables.
- Updated the above stats to calculate their usage based on the length of loading the skill. Anything below 1 second is assumed to be 1 second worth of usage. (Instant charge skills behave like this in Mabinogi itself)
