Mana Crystalization & Adv Magic

  So, what rank would have to be achieved in Mana Crystilsation to atleast produce Rank 3 Crystals.
  Ice spear or Thunder, depending at what i have avaliable at the time. I just want to achieve the right rank to get r3 crystals without wasting needless AP. I am aiming towards the Alchemy Master title fyi.

  Not really. I helped a guildy finish Rank 2 AM and apparently we were making Rank 3 crystals 4/5 times with a -24% MP Ice Wand. The +28% Damage Crown Wand was giving out Rank 1 crystals pretty consistently.
  
  I don't know what rank Crystallization was, I think Rank 7.
  
  You'll waste more time and money at ovens than AP saved if you try not to rank Crystallization. So you should up that at least a few ranks.

  First of all, your rank of Mana Crystallization is not the only factor in determining crystal quality. You must also take into account your Intelligence, your rank of the advanced spell being crystallized, your rank of Magic Mastery (for the additional damage it provides to spells) and whether or not you are using the Magic Master title (again for spell damage), and any +damage upgrades and/or enchants on the wand you are using. If you're entrusting spell charges, you must also take into account the spellcaster's ranks of Alchemy Mastery, Mana Crystallization, and the advanced spell being used. The exact formula is unknown, but you can safely assume that higher is always better.
  
  To put things in perspective, at Rank 1 Alchemy Mastery, Rank 1 Mana Crystallization, and Rank 1 Ice Spear, with a base Intelligence of over 600, using the Magic Master title, and wielding a max-damage Color Raven +28% damage Crown Ice Wand, I can produce Rank 1 Ice Spear Crystals roughly 60% of the time, solo. Having a high-ranked alchemist entrust Ice Spear charges to me would raise the percentage significantly.

  I'll parrot trigger and say that with Lizard Wizard +28 crown wand and a rank 1 mana crystalization person entrusting me I get rank 1 crystals 99% of the time.
  
  I have yet to find a formula for getting rank 1 Fireball crystals with much success. Might have to try something else like Wyllow Spike or something.

  Right now, im only concerned with getting up to Rank 1 in Alchemy Mastery, and its Mastery Title.
  Rank 2 Requires you to make Rank 2-4 Crystals in Mana Crystalization.
  I can probally find someone who will do the casts, if i provide them with massive MP pots and possibly a few elixers.
  I just have to find the right rank in Mana Crystalization in order to make that high of rank/ provided the person doing the magic is r1 IS/Thunder.
  I am gonna aim for Rank 7-9 Mana Crystalization, Start with 9, if it doesnt cut it, go up a rank till i get them.
  
  Aswell as, is it more beneficial to do it on saturday, or friday. Friday for pot poisoning and mp pots being more effective etc?

  Well, mana elixirs are back out, so I'd assume it's easiest to just chug one of those and spam the adv magic charges as much as you can, which pretty much nullifies Friday's advantage (unless Friday makes elixirs last longer, which I'm not aware of). Saturday will give you an alchemy bonus, so I'd assume that's better.

  I managed r4 crystals with r6 Mana crystalization with a r2 ice spear (non-alchemist) casting for me with a max damage wand. r7 wouldn't make them.
