Please don't report your thread with a billion giant gifs expecting me to spoiler tag it for you. That was too much.
The spoiler tag is used like this:
[.spoiler="title here"] content goes here [/.spoiler]
Without the dots.
And please don't post anymore giant laggy gifs. This is your second time.

I've been having fun with this game all day.
Find it very hard to make vehicles that can move properly in multiple directions though, the wheels are confusing.

I can help with that ^~^ you will never make vehicles the same way again and you will lose all creativity on making a working steering system

A little while ago playing it I had a rather successful articulated vehicle, which was almost completely free from the steering problems that most creations in this have.
I'm a bit annoyed though by how fragile the wheels are, and am probably going to do more testing with Splat's approach of putting the wheels inside a protective railing.

could also try the armour coverings
i just have the "protective railing" because it lets me build outwards from the wheels and do more weird stuff like this

Here's a screenshot of the articulated vehicle I made.

The hinge in the center allows it to steer surprisingly easily, without the issues i've had on other designs where the wheels rub against the frame or each other.
Of course it is a strategic weak spot as well, but I think on a larger design I could align a non-powered hinge with the powered hinge to provide additional structure across the gap.

This took me a while to get working right but it took me through most of the levels.

You guy make such weird looking catapults.
My workhorse level-clearer is a twin-boom, but I did perfect a 5-boom apparatus just for the hell of it.
Here's the layout I use though. It uses a mast to hold the spring, which doubles as a surface for applying armor. That way enemy arrows coming at me don't cause the bombs to go off prematurely.

This game needs serious performance improvements. Even with my pretty awesome PC my builds lag before I can get anything very interesting constructed.
