I'm working on getting my adv. magic atm so i dont have any of those.
I was wondering though what skills i should rank?
Magic Mastery: A
IB: 9
firebolt: C
Lightning bolt: E
Mana Shield: F
Healing : E or D:what:
Critical Hit: B or A
I was just wondering what my main objective should be atm?
If it helps, I have a cumulative level of 101 and my current lvl 10

Icebolt is usually rank-able without any pain, and Lightningbolt has a lot of bang.
Windmill never hurts, and Critical Hit is a must.

Any advice on getting adv. magic?
I go Thunder book and have pages 1,3, and 5. 2 and 4 are... hard to obtain :P

For page 2, I assume you've finished G1/G2, try Fiodh.
Gives decent page drops, and you can sell off the end enchants.
Page 4, solo Rabbie, but I'd really just stick to bolts for now.
Advanced magics aren't very worth it at lower levels.
Page 4, most likely is going to be something bought. (Unless you have a nice friend who'll cc during the Rabbie runs. [just make sure to leave the party, too.])

I honestly would try to get 300+ Int first and a good Mana pool to begin with before even considering Intermediate Magic.
That being said, keep Healing at rE, for it will save MP costs while adding 5 more HP recovery. Critical Hit is always something you should rank up whenever you have the training done and AP for it. It's also crucial to Intermediate Magic DPS.
Unless you have plans to rank up WM/Refine beforehand, start ranking up Lightningbolt for pure dmg if your Magic Balance and MP are ready for it.

Max Crit. Icebolt and Crit were my first Rank 1 skills, and you really need the Crit bonus for bolt magic to handle anything beyond Goblins well. It also makes Adv Magic much much better.
Personally, I prefer Icebolt over Lightningbolt for pure mages. Lightningbolt can't handle multiaggro well without Chaincast, and that's a huge mana vortex for the times when mobs aren't all clumped together. This also lets you use Stiff enchants later on without worry, but with the tradeoff of -Str from Wisp enchants.
Magic Mastery isn't vital (I left mine at Rank C for about 1200 levels, much past the point I stopped pure magic), just get enough to have around 150-250 MP. From there, max either Icebolt or Lightningbolt, then max Crit, then max Firebolt. That should be a good base for advanced magic and give you the ability to handle most ordinary situations. CC+4 Firebolt on Hot-Air Balloons will give you a good supply of Exploration EXP until you can manage rafting.
