I went to try and solo a Girgashiy, but noticed a party that was using some odd language like:
"what role am i?"
"30 slash"
"45 dps 24/7"
"go to your roles"
I have no idea what they mean, but these raids seem very interesting to me. Could someone explain to me the basics of Girgashiy raids?
Also, should I even start doing this? I have rank 1 combat mastery and magic mastery, using Shyllien Mana Knuckles with rank 3,1,2 lightning, firebolt, and icebolt, repectively. Also have rank 7 healing, but rank F party healing. Have rank 4 Knuckle Mastery ( I'm a battle mage). I'm about to hit a total lvl of 1000, so I'm very noobish. I have never done anything in a party, since I've been playing Mabinogi solo so far. I feel like I would hold a party back, so I'm thinking of not doing it.

There are three roles tied to the three skills:
- Shield of Trust: Girgashiy has a skill that drops minerals from the sky, Shield of Trust is to block these minerals not only to reduce to their damage, but also to stun Girgashiy.
- Celestial Spike: After Shield of Trust blocks Girgashiy and stuns, Celestial Spike extends the stun and also makes Judgment Blade do more damage.
- Judgment Blade: Once Celestial Spike extends Girgashiy's stun (when it falls down to one knee), Judgment Blade will deal heavy burst damage as it ignores 35% of Giragshiy's Apostle Defense. It's potentially devastating to the point where it can reach 100k with high-end stats.
However, I highly advise against doing raids in your current stance. Crusader Skills which you get from completing G19 are mandatory to doing the raid. Your offense is very negligible to the point where you'd be doing 1s no matter what. If you can't meet the criteria, you'd be holding everyone back.

Yea, I finished G19 at around level 3XX, despite the difficulty. I tried solo and I did 12's and 13's. Took me a full 10 minutes to bring down its health to 30%. Thanks for the feedback, I'll wait it out a bit.

If you have intention of maxing all of the Crusader Skills in the far future, you will need start looking at the daily orders.
Then, see if people will let you join their parties as fillers to slowly grind that Crusader Level. It takes forever, and you are limited to the amount of Crusader Experience you can gain per day.
If you can't join parties, try doing orders that you can do without much combat.
I have been doing Apostle Raids since it was released, and I have no idea what they mean. Alexina must have their own thing.
