Okay, so I'm sitting pretty at 1375 coins. Now, I'm interested in getting the Majora's Mask messenger bag and Wonderful 101. My dilemma? That would require 1400 coins.
Now, I've contacted Club Nintendo with the majority of the things I'm about to request some clarity on, but I've not yet heard from them in the past two days so I figured I'd post here and see if anyone might know and thus save me time and sanity.
1) I know products made after Jan 21st 2015 no longer have registration codes, but I'm unsure if that's specifically all titles released after that date or if it means downloadable titles that were released before that date will also no longer give coins.
2) If downloadable titles that were released before the 21st do still award coins, is it possible to redeem coins for a downloadable title and still get awarded coins for that purchase if the game in question has a coin value attached to it?
In other words, if I were to redeem 600 of my coins for Wonderful 101, would I get its established value of 60 coins for the registration, letting me redeem for the messenger bag without having to buy another game?
3) And lastly, if no to all of the above... does anyone have an unused registration code they have no immediate use for? All the physical games I want that still potentially have codes I already have, and all the games I don't have at this moment that I want came out after the 21st.

Yes, you can get the 60 coins. I just checked for myself, and my Wonderful 101 gave me the 60 coins after I registered it.

Wait, you can get prizes for registering your DS games? I didn't even know that was a thing.

Thanks for the info, Arsik! Just tried it and can verify it for anyone else who might have had such a question. Now that the messenger bag and Wonderful 101 are ordered, the only things I still need from Club Nintendo are my elite reward and the Smash 4 bonuses.

I just bought MM and the previous generation 3DS XL. Is it still worth registering to Club Nintendo? I have no games besides MM right now.

Majora's Mask cant be registered the old gen 3DS if bought new can be (or used if previous owner never used the pin) for the #DS you might get enough for a game or 2 near the 150-200 points

The 3DS XL would get you 160 coins, so possibly. The lowest-tiered rewards would probably be worth about 150, so you could get a free game or give the download code to someone else (it'd be a Game Boy era game, though). Peruse the list, and see if anything sticks out for you. Also, the registration # for your XL will be the serial number on the back beginning with (and including) CW.
Rewards listed here.
Eligible games that can earn coins when registered.
Do note that the registration survey (which awards the coins) for downloaded games will only show up after the game has been successfully downloaded to your console/handheld, not at the time of purchase/redemption. For physical games that are eligible, the survey appears immediately after registering the game. It's also worth noting that for games with coin values that can be registered, one week after completing the registration survey there is a post-play survey that can be completed for a bonus 10 coins.

I want to know how they determine which ones are expired. I had some newer games say the registration opportunity was expired while old ones still worked fine. Lol. For example, it let me register Pokemon Diamond, but Platinum was expired.
Doesn't look like I'll be getting anything. Registering all my games only got me 200 points. I might get the 160 if it accepts my 3DS registration but it said something about checking the warranty status and I know that's long expired, so it may not accept it. Even if it does, nothing I can do with 360 points. I don't need greeting cards and none of the available games look interesting.
