Well, considering it is a wand that gets a little bit of everything, it ain't so bad. And remember that All Egos are capped at 50 for now. Maybe once they become uncapped to 100, all spirit weapons will surpass even their special R type counter-parts. Until then yea sure, specially-upgraded weapons will usually win damage wise. But only until then.

"I don't recall wands giving +Cast Time bonus or damage bonus o3o i thought it only gave chain casting... x.x"
They still do. The old Chaincasting ego wands still chaincast and overpower their respective bolt magic. However, that's all those spirit wands have to offer. The old ego wands are more suited for mages that prefer to specialize in bolt magic combat rather than intermediate magic combat, I would say.
The new "Advanced" wands on the other hand are for those who want a reliable wand at the expense of not having any outstanding attributes; A wand that affects ALL magic spells (save other int magic and perhaps healing spells) rather than just its respective bolt magic. The only thing they're really sacrificing is the ability to chaincast.
I think capped ego wand is already better (i think) than upgraded wand...
seeing how it gives Crit Damage, MP Reduc, and +magic damage(%) o-o
Atleast for thunder...

Nope, upgraded is still better :P Especially for +damage (S upgrades)

Sad, but true.
Also, if the ego wand needs to be level 100 or so just to surpass an upgraded wand, then it's really not worth the effort.

Seems like a level 50 capped ego should outclass any upgraded/enchanted counterpart. Alas,
complete balance was not devcats strong suit

a s2 upgraded cc4 outclasses my 44 str 35 soc ego firewand outright. that's leaving out that an ego wand recieves no mana cost reductions from anything. at least the fire wand doesn't. a cc +4 wand does when you've max bolt/fire and set. it's actually lame. only up side is dura and maybe the more viable melee. i couldn't having a little of everything though. that'd just mean it'd suck at everything. really wish they'd do something about casting cost with egos.

It doesn't make sense to record the damage and critical of spirit wands (v2) and spirit cylinders.
I don't have the time to put any thought into this matter right now. Make some discussion and i'll consider revising those sections with the appropriate information. Social will be recorded.

Probably not... but the magic growth stats? definitely, considering they all have different bonuses and growth unlike cylinders.
IIRC, crown ice is like 20% dmg, 6% mana reduction, 8~9% crit damage and 5~6% cast reduction at all 40.

wouldnt that stuff show up in pics people post/submit anyway? not like it needs to be typed out xD
as for recording the data and knowing what stats would be at x level, people with these egoes could/should just edit wiki instead of making kaeporo do extra work on the list here lol
(not saying anyone is using this point, but if they do, this is where this kind of information should really be; wiki)

I've put in plenty info on ego cutlass for the wiki as I've grown mine.
So have others. Dunno about the other weapons. Also, I don't think that's the purpose of this thread.
