Hi! I got a few questions,
1. I know HP / Mana / Stam is softcapped at 1500. Would trans still add more cause its not hardcapped? For example, i got 1500 mana and trans into falcon (+700 mana) which would leave me with 2200 mana. Wouldn't that increase my dmg of WC?
2. In the Japanese wiki its written that the max dmg passives from savage beast and falcon adds to alchemy dmg like enchants but paladins sword of order doesn't. True? And do they add damage to magic even if its low?
3. Battlefield Overture adds to alchemy and magic dmg. How does that work anyways? With your max dmg from your strength(staves, wands, cylinder)? If it's strength -> LEL. Wouldn't that put elves in a big(?) disadvantage?
thx in advance

All I can help with is the first one. You can go over 1500 for HP/Mana/Stam in trans for sure with trans. Also welcome.

1.I think the damage given is hardcapped at 1500 mana. I Tested Watercannon at 1503 mana and hit 4239. I Then ate a Chicken Gizzard Cater
+420 mp and hit 4198.
3. All I know about this is regarding Magic and BFO. To my knowledge BFO only works on Spirit Weapon Wands (Mabye All of them.) All i can confirm is that it works for a Regular Fire Wand ego. I just Tested it with mine.

1. Nice ty, heard the same from other sources aswell.
2. From the infos i got, bfo buff counts like a max dmg enchant. Magic/alchy skills are affected according to their dmg constant.
So more str more dmg. I guess elves are the worst pure mages/alchs if u go by number alone lol.

Nope, it's not the weapon damage that causes more damage to be dealt with skills like firebolt. It's the max damage modifiers that get buffed by bfo.
Even if str was taken into account, the number from that would not be significant enough.

Only base stats are capped at 1,500. All other additions, trans, food, talent stats, etc go over the 1.5k limit.

"softcapped", meaning only the 1.5k will count towards the damage, even if it goes over.
Hard cap means the stat cannot go 1.5k no matter what.

Actually, bfo gives you +dmg based on your character screen damage, so more character screen dmg = more dmg from bfo, and STR provides a lot of character screen damage.
1500 STR gives you 600 character screen damage, which with a 50% bfo is the same as a whopping 240 magic attack for say, firebolt.

Yes i know that wand min~max dmg doesnt contribute to magic dmg but im talking about bfo.
Bfo increases max dmg depending on max dmg of the weapon youre currently using (max dmg on ur char info). If you use a bow dex increases it, knuckle = will etc. Wands and cylinders max dmg increases with str. Bfo dmg is used like a max dmg enchant in the dmg calculation formula. Magic and alch skills got dmg contants so they are buffed.
Hence str equals more dmg for magic/alch skills with bfo. My theory is that elves are the worst mages/alchemists on paper despite the current belief.

Elves never really had an outright advantage in magic/alch, this is a common sense.
Sure, the STR difference will count, but it really won't matter much.

The thing about magic spells (minis firebolt, which does) and alchemy is that max damage doesn't get multiplied with anything, so 1~100 more damage is basically unnoticeable.
Human magic => elf magic > giant magic
if you factor in BFO with max dmg potential.

This is my first time hearing this, honestly sounds broken as all hell ;_; Am I misunderstanding something?
Not that it matters, the 1.25x run speed on elves balances everything. (I'm actually not joking)

You're not, but really the bfo/dmg effect is only really THAT pronounced on firebolt and tends to be minimal on other magic/alch skills. Besides, the STR difference between elves and humans is only ~200? even with a 50% bfo that's probably only the equivalent of 30~40 more magic attack and elves can still cap STR with cater/trans and so on.
Also, elves are 1.32x speed and I wouldn't joke either, it's a hella useful trait.

When I log onto my elf mules their speed makes me cry. But then I log back on my human and equip 2 swords and have no regrets.

Thanks for the clarification, I am somewhat comforted. 1.32 speed... that is indeed significantly more than I remembered. It only bothered me even a little because I was still under the foolish impression that elves were marginally the best mages.
