SOLVED! I cannot say if it will work for everyone, but I cleared my internet (Google Chrome for me) cache and removed "steam_appid" from the install directory. I was able to get through the entire Ninja quest-line without getting the error or kicked. Sakura Abyss is awesome!
Lately I have been getting the same error as a lot of other people, 0x00010501 . I've browsed some of the other forums of people having this problem and they all had the same two responses: sympathy and "remove your mods". Also, like so many of the other people with this error, I have NO MODS/HACKS.
So, my question is: Does this problem have a true fix yet?
I'll just be over here waiting....:imdead:
Edit: I've tried stopping all unnecessary background processes, it still popped up. It just took a little longer to do so...
Edit2: I'd like to also point out that this didn't start happening until the first or second update after they stopped their SAO event(s)

Go to your Mabinogi installation folder and screenshot it for us.

Do you want all of the subfolders or just "C:/Nexon/Mabinogi"?
Here's just the top folder -

I don't know if this is actually what did it for me, but I was playing for well over an hour without getting the error and I closed the game without it being because I was kicked. I did 2 things: I removed "steam_appid" from the install directory and also cleared my internet (Chrome) cache. Could it have simply been that HS was reading the steam_appid, or something in my cache, as a mod?
