I do hope i'm posting in the right area.
My name is Zonabi and I'm a Tarlach player,Its nice to meet you all.
I've been playing for a few months now and well, I've decided to take on a bard role.
I'm quite fond of singing, but there are never score's for sale when it comes to the microphone. And though I do like being a bard,I would also like to make the most of being one. I've searched high and low for websites that might have score's,but I've come up empty handed :fail3: . Even creating my own has become tiresome leaving a foul taste in my mouth after hearing the results..
So my question is,might anyone know of a good site the produces decent microphone score's?

We have a section under the talk part of the forums called "Lifeskills Discussion". This section is 90% about music.
Good luck with your bardventures!

Kenero has a song library apparently as well.

It's not specifically the composing, it's that the voices in-game just... really, REALLY suck.
And I have tried.

Most of what I've done/saved/converted/stripped is just for laughs or to annoy people anyways because it's so hard to get something that doesn't suck. I mean the notes don't even have the same lead-in time in a single octave.

I might be misunderstanding, but
if you just tinker around with the octaves of an existing melody in MML, you should be able to make it into one suitable for the microphone. You'll have to bear in mind the gender you're writing it for, though.
If you're saying that's led to many failures...
I'm not as active anymore, but I'm willing to help you edit MMLs! ^^

Yeah if you want I can post some here... but the vocal system in mabi is pretty damn crappy.

Again, be warned that most of these are terrible to listen to because the vocal system in mabi is crappy.
It only allows one track plus notes are inconsistent in volume, sample, and lead-in time.

For adding vocals to an existing non-vocal scroll (for playing with an instrument other than a mic), generally you just copy whichever track has the melody into the vocals track in-game (as 3MLE was never updated for vocal export as far as I know), though you'll often have to raise the volume of the vocals and lower everything else. Then use Fantastic Chorus in-game to get the vocals to play alongside your instrument.

I generally don't like using Fantastic Chorus because, as Rydian may have pointed out (I may just be misunderstanding again), I notice it's not always synchronized with the instrumentals. It'll still sound nice though.
If you were to duet with someone specifically using a microphone, you'd want to
lower the volume instead, because vocals are insanely loud. (v12 is a good volume to work with.)
