So I just got back from a round of Red Dead Redemption, and I ahve to say I can't help but scratch my head at the idiotic mission design behind "American Appetites".

Whose idiot's idea was it to have the protagonist exposed as a complete moron for not recognising the cannibal the first time he meets him? And the game even throws it into your face and smears it up and down with his maniacal laughter afterwards which Marston doesn't seem to hear despite being a handful of meters away in a silent night. Let's completely ignore the way the "assailant" acts when you pursue him and bring him back to the cannibal.
And if you take over the "not being braindead" part out of an inherent revulsion against doing braindead things, you fail the mission.

So toughtless, it hurts my brain.
