I just estimated how many more matches I need... a lot.
Seeing as how I haven't used up any of my jousting points, I should have more than 90 points (30 wins * 3 pts/win = 90 points).
But I only have 40 something and I've lost a few times.
:T_T:
It's a pretty good title btw.

I'm trying to get the PD Rose Plate armor... Q.Q
And the Jousting Claymores as well.
Both require masses of points. x.x

Jousting title as in Gladiator?

Practice and luck. That's my experience.
Don't worry, you'll get it soon. It's well worth it if "the Wyvern Hunter" doesn't suit you.
Nowadays, I use "Who Discovered Maiz Prairie Ruins" title for +30 Str and some Crit, while the "Gladiator" title for everything else.
Personally, I don't spend the Jousting Points on anything but
Metallic Arrows/
Bolts. Those are good ammunition and only surpassed by
Fine Special Arrows and
Finest Special Arrows.

Believe! Believe you can and your dreams will come troo! Just like how I keep saying to myself : "I may have gotten crap from spending 25k on Treasure Chests, but I know next time I try, I will definitely get something that's not crap!"

Just keep at it and you'll get it eventually. Try going to a less populated channel, that might help you net more points. Who know, maybe we might see each other sometime since we're in the same server.

Lol, finding an empty channel so you can fight with the npc. Otherwise, a less populated channel won't increase your win rate or anything.
You could also learn some standard jousting combos to give you an edge over the newer jousters.

But in the end, it all really boils down to how lucky you are in a match. In some sense, fighting an NPC can be harder than fighting newcomers since they don't act in a predictable manner. And usually, the newer players tend to hang out in less populated channels (hence the suggestion). Then again, anything can happen in jousting. You can try to set yourself up for a good combo and still get your butt handed to you by a randomer.

But they don't try to stop you from setting up combos AND they don't take advantage of the fact you can't use the same type of atk twice in a row. Eg. You just used D and have approx 30% health left, they are less likely to safely execute an S than any player jousting.

I've actually lost several times to the NPCs.

Try spamming the critical combo for your race, the NPCs aren't smart enough to try and stop you.
