The wiki says that Lightning Bolt's max damage reforge adds 2.5 damage per point, so that would be +20 damage. Now is that just flat damage added on when I cant the bolt, or is that actually being tacked on to the damage listed in the skill's description? Would http://puu.sh/gzVEN/ea329b96c6.jpg be 40-170?

Max damage reforges are always added to the skill's base damage.

{170 + 3.5 + (0.6 * Magic Attack) + (Damage Enchants * 0.44)}[1 + (0.15 + 0.15 + 1.5]

That's the simplified formula for lightning bolt, ignoring the future charge multiplier.

Plug in projected magic attack and max damage.
