I've had this happen two times today. What happens is when I kill Glas, the mission doesn't complete, and Glas is not there, but it's as if it's there. I can windmill it, and mission won't complete no matter how many times I do this.
Anyone having the same problem?

He's still there. Keep windmilling until you actually kill him or he is visible again.
It's pretty much like the pummel glitch.

It doesn't make sense.
My crit magnum does around quarter of his health, and before he disappeared, I hit him with a crit magnum when he had around 1/10 of his hp left. Then I windmilled 10 times, which I'm sure would have killed him, since half of those were crit. It should have been long dead.
Another thing I should note is that I also don't get attacked at all, which is different from the Grim Reaper glitch, since he can attack you while being invisible.

He probably went deadly and then regen'd faster than your windmill in the time it took you to be surprised by his disappearance.
Exact same thing happened to me except after like the 5th windmill it showed up again.

Wouldn't 100-100 injury rate prevent this from happening though?
I know windmill doesn't apply would, but like I said before, if I'm magnuming about quarter of his health and he had 1/10 hp left, I'd guess that he was fully wounded after I landed a crit magnum and all it would take would be a single tap. I windmilled 10 + times, and with my bohemian set on, I'm sitting at close to 1.2k str and I'm pretty sure ele 6 bowmill will do noticeable damage.

Windmill doesn't wound, though.
Basically an endless cycle unless you find a method to wound Glas.

No shit, I even said it already.
My point was that after I magnum, it would have been at deadly since I have 100-100 injury rate, and my crit magnum does about 1/4 of his hp and he only had 1/10 of his hp left. After that magnum, even a single icebolt would have killed him since he would have all his hp wounded and can't regen. But instead, I keep having to windmill.

Is it similar to this glitch?

That's just completely untargetable. What happened to me was that after I should have killed it, at least my crit magnum that I landed should have, it disappeared, mission doesn't clear, it's invisible, but targetable by windmill.

The one I posted I can repeat at will just by going too far away from the enemy (luring it away from lizards).
It's not exactly the same glitch, but might be the same cause if you were magnuming from too far away? I can't give you an exact range but in my case I would estimate slightly smaller than meteor range is when it seems to happen to me.

I usually magnum at around ~1200-1500 range, often going below 1000, so I'm pretty sure that's not the case either.

So its like the glitch if you charge cessairs heart in saga 2-6? but the only difference being he doesn't come visible again after a windmill?

I guess you could say that. Some people claim that their Glas comes back up after few windmills, but I assume it's when it's healthy.
In my case, it was definitely deadly as hell. There really isn't a way for him to regen out of deadly when I'm shooting magnums at him with 100-100 injury. An icebolt would have killed him.

Happened to me earlier, I just blaze him 1-2 times and then moved away, he then reappeared chasing me and with full health :gloom3:
