  I wasn't that hyped for this game, but I'm not going to hate on it just yet, since I don't really know much about it. My understanding is that it's now a bit more Persona-like than strictly Shin Megami Tensei.

  It looks like Intellegent Systems asked Atlus to see if they could make their characters and story in Shin Megami Tensei's Tokyo setting rather than a crossover. There's no hide or tail of demons anywhere(though I guess Shadows count).
  
  Battle system from the glimpses of it looks like the giant ATB bar action/interrupt system in some games like Child of Light and Precipice of Darkness 3 and other JRPGs.

  The Shadow-looking guy looks like has Chrom's hair, shoulder armor, cross belts, and the sword he's holding looks like Falchion. Also, Tiki is definitely in it. I can't point out more characters because I've only really played Awakening.

  SMT has always been dark post-apocalyptic with "flat" characters that help you decide what alignment you are.

  Must've not been paying attention close enough. Still, gameplay-wise, Shin Megami Tensei would have easily meshed with Fire Emblem, but I have no idea what this is.

  I'm still waiting to play SMT so I don't know how the gameplay for it works, and since there's not a lot I can gather from the trailer in terms of gameplay, I don't have much of an opinion one way or the other. It looks a bit more ANIMU!! than I would have expected but if the game itself ends up working I really don't care. I kind of like the pegasus bike whatever-they-ares and aside from some really dumb outfits, the visuals don't bother me (but FE:A has some of those too so I guess I'm sort of used to it). What I saw of gameplay reminded me a bit of the attacking animations in FE, but I honestly wouldn't know.

  The hair color is more line an in-between with a bit of teal in it, and it's definitely closer to a younger Tiki, but still. Definitely looks like her.
