Or alternatively, you could start actually explaining your opinions so that it doesn't come across as shitposting. Instead, most of the things you say that I've seen lately has been practically nothing but you regurgitating the things that /v/ says. Which is why when everyone in the world finally got to see anything about SMTXFE, you immediately said "It looks like your typical garbage weeaboo pandering game". No reasoning behind it, aside from that's a general consensus of /v/.
That's fine and all, but then we go back a year ago, and you got extremely hyped over
the Vita Senran Kagura, which is a series that's about big breasted female ninjas fighting, destroying their clothes as they fight, allows you to play dress up, and even has a mode that lets you pose them in an alternate reality setting. Surely that's not meant for "weeaboos".
Or we go less than four months ago. Remember what was great news?
Akiba's Trip. You know, the game that is
literally about fighting girls to take off their clothes, regardless of what the in game explanation is. Definitely not for your typical weeaboo or otaku. [s]The fact that it takes place in Akihabara, the world's capitol of otaku culture, only should make this more obvious that that's who the game was made for.[/s]
Like I said, we've known each other for a long time, and I know that you can form your own opinions without having to resort to using the words that others have said to try and be funny or "unique" on this site. I've seen you do it before. But it pains me that one of the few friends I still have on this site is willing to just immediately just turn around and treat me like shit only because I enjoyed Touhou, not because I made a simple mistake, something of which you know I'm oh so good at doing.
I know your an adult, and you make your own decisions, but if you're going to complain about how everyone here sees you as nothing but a "shitposter", then you should either do one of a few things:
1. You could realize that your shitposting isn't because of your opposite opinion on matters compared to everyone else, it's
how you go about it. Throwing around slang that doesn't really mean anything and writing short sentence "thoughts" will come across as shitposting, because you're not really bringing anything to the conversation. Taking the time to explain your thoughts and opinions will definitely make it seem like they are just that, your thoughts and opinions, and not that of someone else that you kinda sorta agree with and are just talking for them. In fact, have all of the opposite opinions you want, it actually brings diversity to this site, so that it's not just a giant circle jerk about a game that's past its prime. You could also cut down on the hypocrisy (as pointed above).
2. You can ignore this and continue doing what you're doing, because that's just how you are now. You'll keep misunderstanding that people aren't annoyed at you because of you being "offensive", as much as you being a self-appointed voice of /v/. And trust me, the words "weeaboo", "otaku" and "neckbeard" aren't as insulting or offensive as you think they are with how much you bring them up to try and bring someone down.
3. You can always just leave the site. If you really think that no matter what you do, people won't like you, and you can clearly see that any game that isn't Mabinogi on this site, for the most part, is largely ignored, then why put up with it? Why not just leave and join a new community that has a very similar mindset as yours. That way, you don't always have to be around people you feel hate you, and instead find people that welcome you and actually make you feel wanted.
That's just my thoughts on the matter. Like I said, your an adult, you can make your own decisions. But you also have to live with the consequences of your decisions.
