Emain Macha Fishing! Black & White Kite Shield?

I've browsed around as much I could and looked at the wiki many times. The wiki says you can fish a Black and White Kite Shield from Emain Macha. Other sources have said it was a limited time thing.

I personally have fished emain macha in total about 35 days (Real time) over the course of 2 years, and not once have I gotten that shield.

So my question is, does it exist in that lake? Or am I wasting my time?

Yes to both questions. I've fished it two times before. But are you also wasting your time? Yes.

The value of the shield isn't really worth it to afk fish for a long time.

I'm not really looking for a really good shield that costs a lot and I'm not really looking to sell it, I collect and use black/white equipment so that shield is right up my alley.

Thank you for letting me know :) At least now I know the time I've spent in the past fishing for it wasn't a complete waste.
