Hello everyone,
As the title states, after ghe renovation gets into our servers, which swords be the best to FH?
I've watched KR videos of people using falcatas with it and hitting hard with crits (probably due to the past gavhas that contained enchanted and R1 falcatas same as we got here in NA).
But I also thought that Pilgrims swords could be the best choice. Because those have fast attack speed, cqn achieve a higher max damage with no artisan and the pilgrim's only enchant seems pretty nice. The downside is that pilgrims wont be pre reforged.
I bought a clean (ES) falcata R1 with 0 lines very cheap and thought on enchanting it, getting it to Step 5 R, and hopefully get FH reforges on it without burning 100's pf FineTools. I was planning on using that one and a step 5 R battle sword that i already have, not too high on the artisan but its decent.
But now that I read about the pilgrim im not very sure, plus that i've been told ppilgrims attack speed and damage are pretty good for the new bash skill also.
Does anyone with more in-depth knowledge than me in this topic enlighten me in the right path? I'd be very grateful.
Thanks in advance.

Celtic Royal Knight Swords, hands down. The only swords with +10% bash damage enhancement. You get it from blacksmithing stuff from any dungeon I think.
Falcatas are terrible for Bash, because it's a slow speed weapon. Final Hit and Bash generally benefit more from faster speed weapons.

The best FH weapon for older contents are r6 ele 6+ knuckles.
The best FH weapon for newer content is r6 56/48th royal celtic sword.
If you don't plan to get either of the above, the best and most cost-effective option is enchanted rainbow beam from gacha (204 max).

The best Final Hit weapons are Pilgrim Swords. Knuckles will hit harder on most mobs but they'll burn through durability.
The best Bash weapons are the Fanatic Greatsword and the Royal Celtic Knight Swords.
Royal Celtic Knight Swords are a fair compromise between the two. If you don't particularly care about maxing out the effectiveness of either, rainbow beams will slaughter everything anyway.

Thank you very much for your replies guys.
So, basically Royal Celtic Swords > Any other dual wield.
My guess is that of all the new weapons, those will be the hardest, thus most expensive ones, due to their enhacement and stuff. So i think I'll just buy another focused rainbow beam bbecause I already own one, until i can farm enough materials/gold to get the Royal Celtic pair so I just don't burn my gold into some 'useless' /not that efficient weapon.
Thanks again for all of your replies!

Always has been. If you're min/maxing, smithing is required, as it provides the highest-grade gear. It's never been a profitable skill, still isn't, but has always had use.

You're going to have to clarify "saga".

Saga II EP6 w/EXP crystals or Saga I EP4.

Supposedly there's a nerf incoming but I haven't yet to see any proof of it.
Anyway,

Yes, Blacksmithing is the only way you can get the new melee Celtic weapons. Magic Craft for magic celtic, and Carpentry for range celtic.

People who know how to make money by crafting them did. It's relatively low effort, and basically passive income once you make enough and just wait for them to sell. I made like 70m off of shurikens and maybe put in 15-20 hours of work crafting them (Though this does include money from their initial release to be fair).
This was also out before saga 2 episode 6 became a well known form of gold generation, and maybe even out before saga 2 in general. I don't remember.
