If they had also done mage equivalents of those Nth floor enchants I'd be less annoyed but as is the norm there's not much for mages going on except renovation hype. I am glad the asuna title was in there, but obtaining that was a huge pain and too few mages got to benefit from it, and at this point no mages will ever get the chance again.

I can't agree more. I spent more gold getting that ALO Asuna title than I have anything else before, and that's just because it was a now-or-never thing. Mabinogi's enchants for mages have always been less than equal to enchants for max damage, I'm not sure why. At least the magic renovation's enchants are going to be awesome (and compatible with Merlin's!)~!
Weird/67th, yes please!

I'm also really REALLY REALLY looking forward to renovation. So much so that I'm actually going through the effort of making plans to prepare for it instead of winging it like I did for the Close Combat one.
It is a shame that ALO Asuna and that Pina title were the only good mage things to come out of that event. But, what else do you expect out of an anime that's geared towards swordfighters. Did you see many mages in SAO? No you did not :/

SAO was specifically meant to be an MMO that didn't include magic lol very good point King.

Well there might have been some magic in it. ALO had some magic if you count flying to be magic xD. Not sure if other magic was involved in ALO or not. But SAO was definitely 90% swordplay.

ALO had quite a bit of magic actually. They talked at length about how to use magic, and each fairy races magic abilities. For example, Kirito's race of fairy had illusion magic. He could turn himself into a giant beast, but it didn't do much if he didn't have physical stats to back it up. The Sylph race had alot of healing/support magic like shields, heals, etc. The Red fairies had fire magic, and were super physical, the other 2 races I'm not sure about but yea :3.

ALO integrated magic as a core feature, along with flying and melee. After GGO with the addition of.... whats her name(?) Was the first time we got to see archery used in ALO.
But yes, magic was in ALO.
But on topic though, has anyone mentioned yet, or anyone know of a better source than this video, for the content of Fate/Stay Night crossing over with Mabinogi?

Okay I guess ALO did have a lot of magic. SAO did not but that was season 1 and the crossover did contain ALO and SAO so they could have done more magic.

I am pretty sure we will get a stronger 2nd title for mages than ALO Asuna in this one... why would they give us weaker ones? Get ready to recycle all that work.
As in mage stuff in this crossover they will probably give us some love since they put Magic Attack in the new Albam Knight Totem(?) and Renovation patch and hopefully will not forget about us when making broken enchants this time.
Oh, also, Caster and Rin were mages and UBW is more focused around Rin route from the VN.

When I think of SAO, I don't really think of ALO much. Beyond the actual SAO content, I just felt the rest of the series was filler. Kind of like Bleach after the Aizen arc.
Fate Stay Night might give us better magic "content" for sure; the series it totally centered around magic.

There's going to be a magic attack totem? What is the number range for it? I haven't been able to find too much on this Alban Knight Camp stuff.

Yeah, Alo was cute and nice, and the ggo was suspenseful, but it didn't really give me that exhilaration that sao did when things got sketchy
