Mabinogi International Design Contest!

  Hello,
  
  My name is Eun Suk Lee, and I’m the art director of Mabinogi.
  
  We’ve had a passionate run thus far, Mabinogi and players all over the world, and we’re still going strong.
  
  During that time, we received so much love and interest from players in Korea, Japan, Taiwan, and China that we eventually expanded to the United States and even launched the European service earlier this year.
  
  To capture your interest even longer, we’re holding the 2nd Mabinogi International Costume Design Contest.
  
  During the first event, held back in 2005, we received over 4,000 submissions from four different countries, including Korea. It was extremely difficult to pick winners. The judges were astounded by the quality of the entries—you guys paid so much attention to detail. The designs, colors, and even background stories for your submissions were all so well constructed. We were humbled and awed by your creativity.
  
  This time around, we expect an even more intense competition, since we’ll be opening the contest to players from the United States and Europe. As a result, I have even higher expectations.
  
  I cannot wait to share again in the passion and talent of Mabinogi players worldwide. I cannot wait to share again in the ideals you desire.
  
  Please, players from Korea, Japan, Taiwan, China, the US, and Europe, show us your love, passion, and talent. I hope this event proves a chance for you to showcase your skills and unify Milletians all around the world. Let’s spread Mabinogi to the world!

  They play the version where the servers are in the US, no? I could have sworn that they did and didn't have a NexonCA, but I could be wrong.

  No.. it's just that people from Australia play NA too.. so.. yarr.

  Again, since they play on the servers that are based in the US, then they are allowed to enter the contest. Probably the only people that can't enter this contest, technically, are South Americans and Africans, but that's only because they don't have an official localized server and are generally IP blocked from the game. But even then, just by saying they play on the North American Ruairi server, or the European Macha server, for example, then they could probably get in. I'm thinking the team that's doing this is looking more at the art and what server they're from than the location of the player him/herself.

  I wonder if they'll use the same template that the JP design contests have used... if so I can maybe submit my old design that I never got to for JP mabi...
  
  Also wonder if there's a limit to how many you can submit.
