lol I suppose that would explain it.

I think NA would just disappoint us with the 10th year anniversary. NA Nexon is probably the lamest and worst branch of Nexon. I have an extremely low opinion of them.

You mean you don't pity them for having their hands tied? KR calls the shots and could give less than a damn about the NA branch, I mean look what they did to EU.

Assuming I'm informed correctly, Devcat NA branch was terminated years ago after the incident of fucking up vindi servers hard. Sabina reinforced this a while ago by saying that whenever an issue arises, they have to contact KR during a maint.

This means that NA has little control over mabi outside of what the moderators can do. Their hands are tied extremely hard, and looking at the bug process KR wont even believe them on reporting anything unless they've beaten it to death and back. This is probably mirrored in KR that either devcat is lazy and complacent, as per their namesake, or they're on a schedule dictated by Nexon/the Director. They don't meet that deadline without a viable excuse, for instance the code not complying correctly, or producing any results, they're in for hell.

Either way its fucked up. and KR is brutal when it comes to giving anybody hell, EU being the prime example, them left in the goddamn DARK for a year to two years.

Like I would love to see them throw a 10th year anniversary party but it also doesn't seem like a thing NA Nexon would do in general. I can't think of a single game that NA rented out a convention center and threw a really nice 10th anniversary party for like Mabinogi has in KR. Actually has any other Mabinogi version done a big anniversary party at a convention center aside from KR? I guess this is a question directed at JP.

I dislike NA for the moderators and GMs, not because of their lack of action. If anything, they SHOULDN'T be given more power. I don't trust the lot. Sure there is the occasional actually helpful GM like Cicada, but I wouldn't risk giving the Taskets of the world more power.

10 Anniversary Fantasy Festival in May 6th 2015, I just went through two weeks of troubleshooting my audio codec, video buffer and everything else that can go wrong with extra long video and editing alone took almost three days. All I can say, I'll stick to my regular release date, which is Friday 18:00 PST. (I'm replying while waiting for upload to finish)

Everything I've seen reinforces the idea that NA is not allowed to do any dev work.

Event toggling is up to them, but issues with events not working properly need KR's hand.
