  That is the very definition of greed. Sell a $60 game then resell a HD edition later that fixes problems that shouldnt have been in the first one.

  I don't really care that much but I support the idea of keeping devs accountable by making in-depth comparisons. If they wish to downgrade the ultimate PC experience to match the consoles, then that's their business decision--consumers should be aware of it and then make a choice as to whether they will support this kind of business practice. The companies that don't compromise on the high end PC experience will then benefit (or not.) I think this will become increasingly critical as the PC capabilities continue to pull further ahead of the consoles over time.

  Witcher 2 enchanced edition was free for those who bought witcher 2. CDPR is a very consumer friendly company. I think Witcher 1's enhanced edition is also free for ppl who bought the original, correct me if I am wrong.

  PC is much more powerful than consoles and can handle graphics way better than this. No reason to play games on PC if companies wont use the full potential. Lots of people buy super expensive gaming PC's to be able to play on Ultra graphics but when companies dont even try to make a good PC port people complain.

  Didnt know they were free, but that's still no real excuse for something that should already be in the game. I bet it's similar to Watch Dogs where they hid the Ultra graphics assets in the game files.

  No clue what happened to the graphics but I like CDPR so I am not that worried. These guys make games that are DRM free and they are nice enough to give players free graphic updates with added content (enchanced edition has more story contents and whatnot). Plus witcher games are incredible. Maybe they hit a snag with graphic performance since they did delay the launch probably because there was problem with original graphics. Just saying people aren't really losing anything, they need more time to figure the graphic thing out and I think that's more than reasonable.
