This little line was in the patch notes. Did they actually fix it to stack properly with other sources of cast speed? I would be impressed. More likely they just broke it before and it wasn't rollable for a while, and now it is again.

I have a video of my natural 23% vivace and my sin staff with every magic casted pre-patch. I'll be able to test it post-patch the moment I get in and if I feel any change I'll get back t'ya on that. Chances are they didn't, but in the miraculous chance they did, I'm posting a "HAIL TASKET, THE OVERLORD HEARD MY PLEA FOR BUGFIXES AND CONTACTED THE KING DEVCAT TO FIX MAGIC ONCE AND FOR ALL!"
That's if they didn't ham hand it and actually implement additive or not. Good chance they did, as its not just reforges that breaks it, its the several stacks that end up breaking it because the whole thing is broken.
EDIT:Nope, Not additive cast speed fix. God damnit.

From what I know, some spells cast faster if you have more INT.
Vivace is supposed to make you cast faster.
Some wand upgrades do faster charge time
There's also those green 30 minute potion buffs that I never tried.
And then there's reforges.
Is it just reforges that don't stack on top of the others? Or none of them work when combined with any others?

I think the issue was stacking with vivace and cast speed pots; cast speed reforges were fine on their own

Casting speed with reforges wonkily changed the values of mana cost with advanced magic because of how the reforge interacted with it. From my tests, it actually did the inverse with mana while reducing, shortening the time but retaining the mana drain total, or making it even higher.
Cast Speed is still screwed because breaking the actual .4 casting time barrier is insanely difficult. The theoretical never meets reality either, meaning it stacks badly as it goes up the chain.

I can confirm that my speed casting phoenix wand is still screwed to all heck. I can't use it at all because the blasted thing uses about 30 mana per charge. Roughly 3 times the amount with any other wand.
