  General strategy:
  
  Mafia traditionally targets the doctor first, following by the police. The doctor heavily prolongs the number of turns and combined with the priest, allows the good guys to narrow down the mafia. When the doctor and all police are gone, the citizens are defenseless and the game is won. That said, it's never that simple since you never want to unveil the doctor (unless you're down to 1 mafia)

  Not entirely sure whether it is permanent or not yet, but it seems like it might be the case.
