How do I get into Barri dungeon? I can only seem to find one imp around Dunbarton so farming a pass off him is going to take forever, am I missing something obvious?
I only want to get in there to mine ores, I just started out, so are there any easier mining options out there? Do mining nodes only appear in dungeons?

Just drop 1 gold, or anything at all. You can access the basic ores in the normal dungeon.

Drop 1 gold? Where? Why?
Sorry, I literally just started playing a couple days ago.

Barri dungeon is located in the town of Bangor.
Once you enter the area with the dungeon altar, you can just drop any random item such as 1 gold coin or 1 bandage and you will be allowed into the normal version of the dungeon and you can mine ores from there. You have to advance through the dungeon to find the mining spots.

Oh, that's what the wiki means under drop item... that could have been a little more clear. I knew where it was and such like, I just didn't know how to get in there besides grinding monsters to drop a pass.
Thanks for the help!

In the off chance that someone else drops the same item as you, (one gold or something like that), they will join your dungeon or you will join theirs if they created it first. Your only option is to leave the dungeon and drop a different item. You can tell if someone else made a dungeon by looking in the top of the screen where text will scroll by upon entering your dungeon.

Why don't you watch through the Lorna & Pan series as a bit of a tutorial?
As much as the new updates make quickly advancing through beginner levels easy for new players, I guess removal of a lot of beginner quests, Eiry, etc. has taken out a lot of the basic learning that the rest of us went through back in the day.

You can also try hitting the statue in the dungeon lobby and a window will pop up letting you pick an item to offer.
