Nintendo's future console will be Android based

You are mistaken. Nintendo has a contract with DeNA, but that's not their next console. Their next console is Nintendo NX, which we have no information of yet. Nintendo is planning to make phone games, but not port over existing console/handheld games to the phone. They want the phone to be more of an introduction to Nintendo, for those who do not already have any experience with Nintendo. They may reuse Nintendo IPs in the phone games, but they're not going to be ports.

So no, this has nothing to do with Nintendo NX.

It'd be cool if you could read the article because it clearly states the the NX will be android based since it does bring up the NX.
