  They've already been posted, so I'll just say ditto to the people that posted Ergo proxy, Cowboy Bebop, and Gurren Lagann. All three are great in both song and visuals.

  Cowboy Bebop's opening is pretty hard to top. That's easily my favorite.

  I just finished a re-watch of Rurouni Kenshin, I absolutely love this opening.
  
  The series is by far one of my favorites.
