Nintendo brings Mother to Virtual Console

Well, all 3 mother games have different stories/characters. Ness is from Mother II/Earthbound, Lucas is Mother III. Earthbound is available on SNES and I think Virtual Console. Mother III has never been officially released in the US but a fan translation exists. What they added to the virtual console today is the first Mother game, which doesn't have either character in it so it won't help you learn the story of Ness or Lucas.

I have Wii U as well, and was really happy when they added in Donkey Kong 64 as one of the virtual consoles...

But now I'm waiting for them to finally release some virtual consoles for GameCube...
