  Actually they do some localization. There's been massive arguments about them translating the NPC Klotho's name as Klotho instead of how it's romanized in the game's credits, 'Chroto', for example. They've translated Shirionian and Kuronian as such, instead of going with 'White people' and 'black people' respectively, which is a quite tasteful decision considering the Kuronians are enemies. This game would look pretty bad if it was all directly translated.
