I'm pregnant, about 12 weeks along and I'm due to birth this thing January 2nd. Was it planned? Absolutely not. The idea that my life is about to change drastically is exciting yet the scariest thing ever. I cannot afford to raise a baby in Southern California so I'll most likely be moving back to Florida some time soon. When I used to talk about "one day when I have my own kid I'll name it this and do that" I didn't realize how foolish I was. Naming a baby is fucking hard, you have to think of something they have to live with forever that both you and your partner think is perfect. All of he shit I used to say I'd do when I had a baby is no longer part of the plan, in fact I have no plan, this whole fucking thing is scary and confusing. I'm not going to lie and say I'm not excited though, because I totally am but there's a whole new level of fear I didn't know existed.

Good luck, Hanna. I myself am on my second trimester. I am lucky to have a supportive bf and parents to help me through it emotionally and financially. (I also live in SoCal, the economy is ridic.)
I hope you have a safe pregnancy.

The average cost of raising a child born in 2013 up until age 18 for a middle-income family in the U.S. is approximately $245,340 (or $304,480, adjusted for projected inflation), according to the latest annual "Cost of Raising A Child" report from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Aug 18, 2014
Low income households are expected to spend half that amount. Good luck.

Congrats! It was only a matter of time before you figured out how babby is formed.
I want kids of my own some day(Though, considering I'm a lesbian, we'll have to adopt unless science improves).

I have a lot of respect for people who adopt. Roughly 90% of normal parents can fuck off.

I want one boy and one girl, and I'm going to name the boy Orion. Dunno what I wanna name the girl. I'll probably leave that up to my girlfriend.

Having to go back to Florida sounds bad, I did not realise it would be that way. But I guess if you decided to take this path then it's acceptable. At least the whole family would be together then. ;)

Sounds like a lot hard work in addition to whatever else you've been dealing with. Good luck!

Lol why are we last?
Anyway, good luck. Being raised is hard, and raising something is just harder. But you can use that experience to help can't you?
