Celtic Royal Crossbow upgrade paths?

I just crafted my bow and I'd like to avoid making a mistake upgrading it. I'll post a screenshot of it down below. What would be the proper path to follow? I don't think I have any issues with balance due to the weapon's grade and I do have capped dexterity. I'm also avoiding the -range upgrades. I did go through a few other threads for information on the bow but I'd like to be 100% sure before I upgrade.

I was thinking this would be the best: Nicca's Crossbow Enhancement, Bowstring Winding 2, Bowstring Winding 3, Ferghus's Crossbow Upgrade, Keen Finish

That's the best upgrade path for the Celtic Royal Crossbow.

Do keep in mind that the weapon will end up with relative low balance but you'll be able to make that up through dexterity since you've got a decent crafting grade.

Can't you use Bowstring Winding 1 instead of the 2 and 3? it gives the exact same damage bonus and less balance penalty. Wiki lists it as a 0~4 upgrade so unless they dun goof'd, it should be possible.

But muh min damage! Jokes aside, you're right, I could have done that instead, but I didn't. I'm just barely over the necessary balance to cap at 80% with the upgrade path I listed above. If the bow was of lesser quality then I would've done what you suggested. This bow is really only a toy, though. I have two hunters and plan to r6 at least one of them once Alban arrives(because losing others to regular success rates has been painful enough.)

I do have to say, using a crossbow is pretty damn fun. If my hunter+huntress combo wasn't better I'd definitely main this bow.
