Anyway, I think that looking at the origin of an organization can be important especially for historical purposes, even if they change what they stand for later. I mean, look at feminism - its origin was to create a better world with equal rights for women so they could vote and work and own land and shit. Now it stands for killing all men and telling men not to spread their legs on the subway. So I think as a society we need to decide, either origin matters for everything or origin matters for nothing. Because having it matter for some things and not others seems asinine.
People are different, Their viewpoints are different. You can generalize viewpoints in way that makes the population look asinine. I doubt there are many people who apply such a rule differently.
And I could tell you are conservative due to your views on feminism. I mean, seriously? Gamergate had nothing to do with sexism, despite a feminist critic being targeted merely for her critiques of the portrayal of women in video games? And you do realize not all feminists are Dworkin fans, right?
Sure, I can't exactly prove this is a thinly veiled conservative attack, but given your history, it's highly logical to do so. The same applies to gamergate.
