Mabinogi player arrested after blood ritual

  Oh dear... This is the last thing we need. :<
  My Mabi friends have been blowing up my Skype about this for about a week and it's crazy.
  It also doesn't make me feel much more comfortable that this guy lives ~3 hours away in my state...

Of course for the wrong reason but if you put a little thought into this, obviously it's going to put a bit of a bad light on Mabinogi, but investigators could intelligently look into the game itself, read up on the mythology a little, and maybe understand that it is actually a very friendly game. Sure there are darker things in it, such as the MacBeth generation and the Duke, but even then, it's hardly that bad. This kid was probably messed up and into some strange things beforehand...
  But it could bring the game out into the open just a small bit, which would be kind of cool, tbh. Like I said, the game is pretty friendly if given the chance, and I'm sure the media will learn that. Personally, I think a little publicity would be neat-o!

  I could bet that there's already "goth" or "scene kids" on Mabinogi as it is, there's people of all stereotypes. Unfortunately, a guy like this is going to put a bad light on those sorts of people as well when they're not all bad, they just like that they like... It could draw a crowd some people may not be comfortable with, but people are still people and as long as they're not doing screwed up things like this guy, their lifestyles shouldn't be our business.

  I wouldn't let this ruin things for you, not everyone online or behind their Mabi account is a bad person!
  I've probably met 2 people online (not from Mabinogi), and 2 people from Mabinogi.
  I intend to meet my other friend in a week or two. c:
  It all depends on the crowd and if you know how to avoid certain negative people in your life, you know?

  Which one? The Dark Descent, or the reverse harem? First one is a horror game (I could easily kill somebody with anything I find in there if I tried. I'll bludgeon/ stab/ choke someone with a key if I have to) and the latter takes place in a world where we have kitchen knives.

  Literally ANYTHING is a weaponizable device. Down to your own glob of spit, and the toes on your feet. People strangle others all the time with their hands. You don't even need a physical object that people associate with harm to kill someone. You could kill someone with a ball-point pen or a credit card if used correctly.
  
  Case and point, "Common Sense Media" has none of it.
