Cutscenes (Requests wanted!)

  Time to make Fraps work with Mabi.
  
  If I had more creativity/artistic skills, I'd pull in a bunch of other cutscenes.
  
  Example:
  (Storyline goes here)
  Me: I'VE HAD ENOUGH FERGHUS! (Cutscene of me charging a group of them - Drama2 final?)
  (Bunch of quick fight motion snippets)
  (From G1 cutscene:)
  "In the name of the Goddess... Stop"
  (G15 ending cutscene)
  (Wing'd Ferghus appears)
  (Cutscene goes on as normal)

  Yes, Aura, as the server, can tell the client to play any cutscene. The server is also the one specifying what the "actors" look like.
  
  Removing the forced continuation would require a modification of the cutscenes though, or rather, the localization files. The text that is displayed during cutscenes is client sided, it can be found in "local/xml/cutscene.english.txt" in the pack files, from where they're referenced in the cutscene files. The code that is responsible for continuing the dialog automatically is the following, 4000 being the amount of milliseconds before it continues.

  Were you to remove that you should get a normal Continue button.

  Now I'm wondering how nexon creates their cutscenes, must be some application that generates the xml files to do what they want. Or they have some guy locked up in a basement writing it all by hand. Creating your own cutscene scripts could be both very cool and amusing.

  Honestly, I prefer this sort of ending better because it added up to the suspense...
  I thought Bella was the final sacrifice required to satiate some sort of ritual. And the ending of G16 is...that, isn't it?
  What went through my mind was:
  Milletian prostrates in front of Morrighan.
  Morrighan begins passing her judgement onto the Soul Stream and begins eliminating everyone.
  The Milletian failed to prevent this ending from occuring.
  Thus, the Milletian accepts his fate.
  Bella takes a look at the Milletian, as if her wishes for him were misplaced and misguided, then walks as she glances over the dead bodies. While looking at the two figures, she executes herself for whatever reason.

  Compare your video to mine. Notice how in yours, "you" are right in front of Morrighan, whereas in mine, I'm farther back.
  
  Bella is hardcoded to walk to that position, but then she turns to face you. You're supposed to be in front of her (my video), but due to a devCat coding error, you're behind Bella, so she ends up turning around completely. This, combined with the hardcoded camera angles, does give the impression that she stabs herself, but really, you're just too far away.
  
  So in summary: devCat glitch, Bella is supposed to kill you in every version.

  That's a huge help. Aura will now be downloaded once I get my next computer, and anything with auto-scrolling cutscenes will have text added when necessary (in the RP journals, that is).

  For me, and I've seen that cutscene thrice (once with a female human, twice with a female elf), I was able to tell that the PC was offed each time...I mean if the screen fading to red wasn't enough...

  I have to nitpick a little: You're not forcing Aura to play the cutscene. You ask Aura to play it, and Aura forces the client to do it.

  Nope, iirc all three are used in-game, meaning there's three RPs involving them in total. Though I've only done the first one...

  If the client doesn't have an animation for the NPC, the server can't magically give it to them.
  You can move them on the server, but you will just see stuttered movement on the client, since they have no animation.
